Awww. This is a great shot of Leilani and Uncle Jason, not to mention long-overdue. That's my fault. Leilani is so big now, granted Jason is ilke 9 feet tall, even still, Leilani looks pretty big for 8 months.

Blehhh!
All i know about this photo, is that it came from Sheyanne and it's of Leilani in a pub. Either she's just eaten a bad clam or put back a shot of whiskey. I hope that's the worst it could be...

Food Face
To date, Leilani has tried bananas, sweet potatoes, apples, and zucchini. This particular feeding was zucchini, which seems to be a favorite. Next week it's sweet peas and possibly some banana puff snacks! Big things coming!

The skinny on Chubby
Let's see. What's new. Leilani's two bottom teeth have come in. I haven't been able to snap a shot of her smiling that shows them yet, but expect to see that soon. Her thing this week is baby-babble. She jabbers on in her own language. She's still doing stink face, except now I think she knows it gets a laugh, so she's just hamming it up. She's definitely a funny baby.

My little bookworm
Leilani is already enjoying being read books which is great news because she has a quite a lot of them. It seems as though she's getting new ones each week. Nana brought over a couple of new books yesterday and Leilani huffed and puffed with excitement knowing that it would soon be story time. She even flipped through a book on her own–so adorable.

Leilani is quick to let you know when she doesn't like something lately, but it only lasts about a second or two, that is unless you get the dreaded double stink face.

Happy 4th of July
On this great day in American History I celebrated by washing my Chevy, watching our greatest American Joey Chestnut win his 6th hot dog eating championship, and made myself an ice cream cone while spending some time with my favorite girls.
